Life For Travel

The Hanthana Mountain Range lies in central Sri Lanka, south-west of the city of Kandy.  The mountain range consists of seven peaks. Medium hiking difficult  If you plan to camp at Hanthana mountain, you can get all  the Camping Tent & Gear for rent in Kandy city. It will take more than 4 hours to get to the top.  But there is another way (Hill Country Sport Shooting Club road ) to reach the camping place,    which is less than 1 hour.   You can go till the foothills by motorcycle or jeep (Rough road). And There are parking spaces too after that 1 hr hiking. Don’t forget to carry food and water because there is no shop nearby, bitterly cold at night.

Sera Ella water fall is located in pothatawela village Matele district of Sri Lanka It is formed by the waters of Kitul Canal which runs down Kaudagammana peak and the Hunumadala River, which flows from the mountains of Gonamada and Deyuthu Gammmaduwa,  combining to form the Puwakpitiya River,  a waterway which joins Thelgamu Oya to create the waterfall at its point of joining. It’s good you go during the season (Rainy) Maximum try to go there before 5pm because this is the whole forest road, Not too many houses.

Ihala kotte is best unique place I have traveled in Sri lanka. Exact this location name is Meeyan Ella Waterfall About 500 m from Ihalakotte Railway Station. (Walk through the railroad track) But in general everyone calls this Ihalakotte. Ihalakotte is a small beautiful village and This location is there. Safe place and not too difficult anyone can reach with someone support. Because climb to the entrance of the 7ft high cave without proper grip. If you are interested in walking through the tunnel, It is good that you know about train times because it's 413m long. And must bring a good lighting equipment (mobile light is not enough).
